"The restaurant has views of the Matterhorn from the window and a small terrace outside. The decor is typically Swiss. In the evenings there is a set 5 course dinner, and everything was absolutely wonderful, even the bread and butter! We were served an Alipine herb soup which was quite wonderful, followed by fish with lentils and spinach which were exceptional for texture and flavor, followed by entrecôte of beef with sous vide potatoes and grilled vegetables, and an absolutely exceptional crepe with local apricots, crispy caramelized pumpkins seeds and pumpkin seed ice-cream for dessert. The service was friendly and excellent. Cost was 62CHF per person which seemed very reasonable given the location and the truly outstanding meal."

"We were told by a local friend that we should not miss a chance to visit this restaurant and she was right. We are so glad that we went there on the very first day of our trip. The next day, the restaurant was to remain closed since the team had some excursion planned. Fortunately they had highlighted this on their website and that saved us a lot of disappointment and brought tremendous joy. The location of the restaurant is unique. It is hidden in a little forest and one needs to hike up to it. There are number of routes one can take. I suggest follow the trails on Swisstopo app which offers easy and strenuous routes with all necessary information. The climb is in parts rather steep and we felt exhausted but once at the restaurant, we forgot our aches and pains. I had Rösti with spiegel ei, crisp, just the way I like it with melted cheese on top. If I would have been honest, I needed no dessert but their dessert card was too tempting. So I also had warm chocolate cake with vanilla ice creme. For chocolate lovers, this is a must have. I was in chocolate heaven. The staff is extremely friendly and food delicious. If one can climb a bit, then this restaurant is a must visit. I definitely look forward to returning here again."
