What Jeff Johnson doesn't like about Sachse Donuts:
Very sweet ladies that run this place, but the donuts are not good. I bought half a dozen chocolate and half a dozen glazed donuts. The glazed donuts were OK, but the chocolate ones tasted stale. I'm guessing a day or two old. They did give me a free blueberry cake donut and that one was actually good. Maybe donuts aren't their specialty and the kolaches are better? read more.

"Where do I begin? When you walk in, you’re immediately treated like family. The atmosphere is so friendly and relaxing that you feel right at home! The service is impeccable! The owner and the staff are incredibly nice and helpful. You can tell they truly care about their customers. Now, the food is unbelievable! I’m Ukrainian, and my husband is American. We both couldn’t have been happier with the food! We ordered A LOT (beef tongue, Russian style herring, borscht, Turkish liver, manti, plov, lamb ribs kebab, buckwheat kasha with mushrooms, and Napoleon). Every dish was so spectacular that we had to come back for dinner the next day! Sadly, we live 4 hours away, but this will be our only go-to restaurant every time we’re in Dallas!"
