Excellent meal at the Federal 131 in the SVRC building! I recommend ANYTHING on their menu. Chefs Lonnie Ryan are great and our waiter Greg was very nice and often checked us. What we ordered: Mango Grapefruit-Mimosa, fried Pickles-Appetizer, colossal Coconut Shrimp with peanut and pineapple ham sauce, a burger with smoked Gouda, grilled onions and drunk mushrooms! My wife picked local 3 places and asked me to choose one because she was taking us out. We arrived and sat down. The decor was nice and the chandeliers are really cool. The whole color scheme I liked. But looking at the walls, they were all scuffed and had cuts in it. Doing some research they haven't been open even a year. So the menu was very lacking. "We were driving to Mackinac from Ohio and decided to stop in based on the Google reviews and we are so happy we did. This is a very small family owned business and they spend their time making delicious food, not decorating the restaurant, but do not let that turn you off, it was very clean, but not fancy. The customer service was AMAZING. The woman taking orders was so friendly that even my 7/7/9 year old children pointed out “that lady is really nice.” We ordered the Don Corleone pizza, and a child’s size sausage pizza, a child’s size spaghetti with meat sauce and child’s sized carbonara, and it was all amazing. Everyone was thrilled with all of the food, but the carbonara stole the show. We finished with a Nutella pizza (pictured), and I highly recommend you do the same. We will stop back in if we are ever back in the area!"
