Este restaurante, ya emblemático en Sagunto y ubicado en el encantador barrio judío de la localidad, sigue ofreciendo platos caseros bien elaborados como lo ha venido haciendo por años. El toque afrancesado en algunos platos sigue evidente, ya que la matriarca de la familia sigue supervisando lo que sale de la cocina, después de haber pasado varios años en Francia. Actualmente, su hija está al frente de los fogones y su encantadora nieta se encarga de servir las mesas. Los precios son más bajos que la última vez que estuve allí, por 15€ puedes disfrutar de patés caseros, un arroz con bacalao preparado ex profeso, manitas guisadas y deshuesadas, y una ensalada refrescante con queso de cabra. El vino es muy recomendable, al igual que la deliciosa mousse de chocolate. Es una excelente opción después de recorrer el castillo y sus murallas, y de visitar el nuevo museo (el MUHSAG), que se encuentra a unos pasos de distancia.
