What Mini Moda likes about Da Kine Island Grill:
We went here for the first time for a late night dinner. I like the sports TV and bar feel. They have an excellent disc Jockey; it makes it feel lively. We shared poke and the Hawaiian Plate. The Hawaiian Plate has lau lau and kalua pork, served with rice and mac salad. All were very tasty. We had Kona beer with our dinner. For dessert we had their excellent Da Kine Haupia. What Joel Cook doesn't like about Da Kine Island Grill:
Went for happy hour. Cheap drinks, with an emphasis on rum, and appetizers. The appetizers were all on the fattening side with lots of cheese and sauce. The place looks worn and not very clean. The restroom was not very clean either and had stuff stored in it. The staff was friendly. Probably wouldn't go back. View all feedback.
