I have eaten many times at Sarku Japan restaurant in Valley Fair Mall San Jose/Santa Clara in the “food court” as people used to call it. I love the chicken teriyaki meal with noodles (or white rice) and vegetables. The meal is prepared right in front of you while you wait. What Rent Petition doesn't like about Sarku Japan:
Serious food poisoning. Not only did I constantly vomit, but I had the runs. I will never come here again. For the sake of your health, don’t come to here to buy any food. View all feedback.
Teppanyaki restaurant. Actually, it tastes closer to Chinese food than Japanese food, but it's okay. There was a long line when I went.

Chicken not as high quality vs other locations. Prices still high though. Food court has nice ambience but almost none of electrical outlets
Ill usually come here for lunch. their teriyaki is delicious and freshly cooked upon ordering
