"We went here one night when our hotel restaurant was shut. We had a lovely table overlooking the Jonte River. All the staff throughout out the evening were attentive and helpful, particularly the lady who explained the menu, which was written only in French. The entrees we had we both enjoyed; a real good blood sausage dish and another with mackerel. Sadly things went a little downhill from there. The main courses disappointed. A lamb dish looked inviting but the meat was quite tough and chewy and indeed my partner has to remove a piece that was not chewable there's not much she can't chew! . My guinea fowl course was tasty but the meat was on the dry side. One of our desserts was good a chocolate dish but the other a tart citron revisited had perhaps been better left unvisited. It looked attractive but was basically a layer of pastry with a layer of not very flavoursome lemon gel topped with some fancy cream work. In contrast the lemon sorbet that came with it was superb. I am being perhaps a little over critical but it was expensive £50 without drinks and as we rarely spend this much on a meal it was quite disappointing. At half the price it would have been very acceptable"

"We expected a restaurant for common tourists, because of the announcement Aligot home ... we were wrong. This is the restaurant of a hotel where locals, workers and tourists are cozy. We ate very well in a pleasant place. The staff is very courteous. It was a very good step. Everything seems to be done home."

"Nous avons quitté l'autoroute pour déjeuner et ne regrettons pas d'être arrivés dans ce restaurant.Tres bon accueil ambiance conviviale service relativement rapide.Repas excellent les cuisses de grenouilles au top très bonne viande grillée,portions copieuses.Nous comprenons pourquoi la salle était pleine avec des clients locaux.Merci à vous pour le régal de nos papilles nous reviendrons"

"Attires par les divers avis, nous avons choisi ce pub. Beau décor,et ambiance conviviale, très bon acceuil. Nous avons opté pour le burger "fait maison "...mais a part le montage je ne vois pas ce qu' il y avait de maison..pain classique.frites surgelés. Sauce mayo et ketchup basiques..ils étaient bon certes mais pour 15euros on peut s' attendre à mieux..quand au dessert une coupe glacée a 7 euros..rapport /qualité /prix..je mettrais une mauvaise note..ayant l habitude de ce genre d établissement nous ne le classons pas dans les meilleurs."
