What Drew R likes about Joe Fassi Sandwich Factory:
I've been trying to get here since around the time the plague started. So many favorites on the Hill it's always a tough decision. I was in the area and stopped in. Nice clean well decorated interior. I ordered a 9 inch 2 Family Favorite sub to go. I went to the restroom and when I got back to the counter the lady who took my order was looking around for me with my sandwich. Fast!!! The sandwich was loaded with ham,... View all feedback. What Maria Sousa doesn't like about Joe Fassi Sandwich Factory:
I was not impressed. It was decent, but nowhere near the quality for the price. I know prices are high right now, and everyone is struggling. I ordered the hot salami, which appeared to be the same sausage as my wife 's Aunt Jennie Salsiccia. There was an undisclosed upcharge for the bread. My wife didn 't want chips, so the person behind the counter said, do you want a small pasta salad instead? Yes, I would! 5 doll... View all feedback.

read moreJoe Fassi's is a well-loved Italian deli on the Hill in St. Louis, with mixed reviews. Some customers found the prices too high for the quality of food received, with one mentioning an undisclosed upcharge for bread and dressing. Others, however, raved about the meatball sandwich, beef and gravy, and Salsiccia with red peppers and onions. The pasta dishes also received high praise, with one customer even stating that Joe Fassi's pasta could compete with more upscale Italian restaurants on the Hill. Overall, the deli seems to have a loyal customer base who appreciate the variety of sandwiches and the friendly service provided by the owner.
