"Went because good things had heard and because the indoor eating was closed tomorrow for Covid. Very glad we did it and plan it until they are opened again. Service was friendly and efficient. The prices were very reasonable and the food was excellent. All boxes dressed. The selection was limited, but they had a local brewery beer on tap so was content. The Tenderoin was crazy as you can see. Definitely the pub cheese sauce for the pommes is worth the dollar fifty charge. The place is clean and well illuminated with tons of outdoor seating. The main bar area is in every respect a bar 4 large screen tvs with sport, a full bar and a fair number of slot machines. All in all a beautiful last Hurra pre-block."

"Food is good, service was sort of lacking. Took awhile to get the check, had to finally get up to get it because they were too busy talking to other workers. I gave it 4 stars mostly because of the memories of going there when I was a kid. The old Parkview and old staff was much better. The old building while it was run down was more inviting as well. I don't like the big open space it is now. I also miss the old mural that was painted on the wall in the main dining room."
