"We ate very well ! The terrace is pleasant, at the foot of the castle. The only downside was that there were a lot of people this day and this was felt by the staff who seemed stressed (even bitter) and the waiting times were quite long. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5"

"This is a beautiful, family-run location in the south region parisienne. not far from the university town orsay, it has a beautiful, clean and tidy ambiente. the service is friendly and professional, and that sit there is very relaxing also thanks to the excellent choice. the background music (usually lounge, jazz, ethnic) and of course eating. crepe and gallettes are delicious, made with organic, whole meal and it shows. there is a very rich choice, and the possibility to adapt their own recipe. several recipes are original and very well balanced. l’oceane is my favorite, with a strong, filling taste and a good feeling. crepe suzette is simply spectacular. it may be a trip from paris, and definitiv must be one when they are in the opposite!"

"The restaurant occupies part of a converted farm complex. There is plenty of parking place in the courtyard. While the salon is in one of the buildings, the restaurant is in a covered extension, jutting into the garden. In summer, there is a delightful terrace...in the garden. The style of the garden is French gentleman farmer, which is genuine, but may disappoint UK visitors. They are well advised to visit the nearby castle, with an English style walled garden. Both salon and restaurant are tastefully decorated in brown-orange. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxed. I am dwelling on the decor because it is a very strong point of this restaurant. The menu is just right, with a good choice, but not so long as to lose clarity of choice. The chef likes expensive ingredients. He may want to look a bit more at local produce produits du terroir . He prepares his ingredients to perfection, making every dish a delight for eye and tongue. His best piece of creativity at the moment is a slice of foie gras with an spuma of espelette, a sweetish Southern French piment . The dish is delightful and surprises. Otherwise, he goes for tried combinations lovingly executed, rather than creative cooking. The chef likes sea salt, but he may want to consider putting less on his dishes and letting guests add if they wish. The wine list is short and made for wine lovers. No clichés and some inventive buying. However, not everyone will share the apparent conviction of the sommelier that you should have a red wine. A nice touch is that the restaurant will arrange for you to take unfinished bottles home. The service is excellent from beginning to end. One feels a house guest, rather than a client. We will come again."
