Everything was very high quality. Tasted amazing. All of the staff members were very personable and inviting. Great wine selection. Would definitely recommend this as a fine dinning option in St. Augustine. Definitely want to come back in the future. View all feedback.
In a nook right in downtown St Augustine is a treasure. Quiet inside dining experience where it seems many locals go. Michael’s is just that. Prices are not for the faith of heart. But neither is the delicious food. Not an extensive menu for food, but incredible for wine. We had a lovely Spanish wine with a beautiful porterhouse, medium rare and perfectly cooked. The potatoes were simple and tasty. The house salad is perfect size and the dressing made in house so light, not vinegary, perfect. The charcuterie board as the appetizer very good with lots of flavors to temp and try. We got bananas foster but I wish I had tried the chocolate tart. Champagne toast to start the meal was a lovely touch. Perfect for date night for a very special someone.
Arguably one of the very best meals I've had in my life! Our service was on point, the diversity of the chef's tasting menu delighted us with each new course. Having the chef deliver each course was an unexpected treat! Her culinary and art training were obvious on every plate. The wine pairings were spot on too. Expensive, but oh-so-worth-it.
I cannot say enough great things about this place! The wine list is amazing and the food is superb. My steak was perfectly cooked. Great wait staff. The location is perfect as well, right in the middle of town. Parking is a challenge-I took an Uber. Reservations are a good idea.
This dinner was an amazing experience. Everything we order was a delightful nothing disappointed. We went as a family but is such a romantic atmosphere that Ill come back but just with my husband.. Our server was Amy she was such a sweetheart, was great talking to her about our root and our beautiful Puerto Rico, and to know that the owner was raised in PR and that the fusion of his flavors in each dish as that Puertorican Flavor was the cherry on the top.
Quaint location historic downtown. Great food. The beef Wellington special was tasty. The sweet plantain wrapped in prociutto with datil guava sauce was bursting with flavor. Our server was a bit opinionated and pushy. I gotta give it to her; at least she admitted it Did not disappoint. Would definitely return.
