"This was the worst experience I had in a star-Michelin restaurant in the past 30 years. The food was inventive, tasty and very well presented with a succession of amuse-bouche the sardine souffléd was to die for). However, we had an awful customer experience that went on all evening: We were sitted next to the revolving door to the kitchen, so it was very noisy with countless passages; You cannot choose your menu at this restaurant as we were told that we all had to take exactly the same dishes at the table one of us had a particular diet which did not allow him to do so). Even my 80 year-old mum got some insults when she asked to take with her some mignardises she could not finish in order not to waste the food. The chef was arrogant, cocky, unrespectful and his wife eventually made nasty comments about serving foreigners. Avoid at all cost this restaurant, there are many more excellent options in Lyon."

"We had a wonderful lunch at mama trotteur with friends who visited us from Britain. my man and I are both vegan and living in meadows while our hospitables eat meat and milk. we were all very well provided and... satisfied with our meal here, as the menu offers a meat option and a vegan option for all courses. the food was incredibly delicious and it is clear that the cook knows what makes it with taste! a deceptively simple Beetroot salad starter was prepared and increased with its spice and garnishing various seeds professionally. my crooks were more than happy. we appreciate the concept and the ethical approach behind the menu design with its celebration of seasonal and local products, which has been significantly influenced by the experience of global cuisine. not only was our meal very pleasant, but the intimate and local environment besides the personal senus welcome and service of the cook from the heart made our experience even more cheerful. that was someone who obviously loves to serve others a full of happiness. we wanted to move here almost a year ago and finally made it a few weeks ago. our only regret is that we did not visit earlier! we will be back and we will be sure that others will be brought back to share the experience with us."

"I went to boko loco once by chance, and it was so good and pleasant that I came back there the next day! varied choice of 5 admissions and 5 dishes 100% vegan, with tofu, seitan, vegetables, fiddles, exotic touches (japanese, antillen, Lebanese, South American. . "We hadn't booked but the proprietor found us a table. The food was excellent and the meat was perfectly cooked and came with a generous amount of sauted potatoes and salad, which was a relief since the menu gave the initial impression that vegetables were an extra. The pudding was also delicious. My only minor criticism is that customers were still being admitted at about 9.30 and were waiting for a table to become available, which in my experience tends to be unusual in France. I expect the table to be mine for the evening. Having said that I would return."
