"Food was pretty good but you could tell they havent changed fryer grease in real real long time. But the dining experience was diminished by the manager on duty. Didn't catch her name but she was loudly berating the employees and constantly hollering at them. She lacked any sense of tact or good leadership. And she was real loud. It wasn't even busy but she was acting like the pressure was on. She's lucky her workers, who were excellent and polite, didn't walk out the door on her."

"Happy Juneteenth everyone! This weekend we went to Wild River State park. The park has no WIFI and offers me an excellent respite from all electronic gadgets. Heck, my phone doesn't even work there. Sounds like heaven right? Right! So, while it was a good weekend on Monday morning I had to call into work for a 2 hour mtg. As there is no WIFI at the park, I had to drive to the nice little town of St. Charles to find WIFI. I quickly saw Cabin Coffee and decided to give it a try. Ordered a cup of coffee and a breakfast sandwich #3). The person taking my order saw my laptop and knew I'd be staying. She gave me coffee in a real cup. No paper, no plastic, it was a real cup, and I loved it! The breakfast sandwich was delish. The egg and bacon tasted so fresh and was nicely cooked. The WIFI worked perfectly, and my meeting went well. It normally doesn't, so I may need to credit the cup of coffee or the very nice sandwich for the quality and results of the meeting. I should also share that this place is so charming and feels like a cabin. It was very comfortable to be there. There were plenty of others there too. Most were smiling, others laughing with friends and family. A few others were either reading from a device or book, and another person seemed to be in a meeting too. I really like Cabin Coffee and the staff, and their patrons."
