"The gourmet restaurant is an enchantment of creation and respect for the terroir. A value for money that does not take the guest for a pigeon with golden eggs. Excellent wine list. A couple who know where they come from and who don 't take the melon after the 2 macaroons. Keep going. Having also tried the brasserie it 's good for a light price. Nothing to say. I recommend the Logis de France hotel next door for its pleasant rooms, remarkable breakfast, and relaxing spa massage. Was I going back? It 's certain."

"We stopped here for lunch on a Saturday, making our way from the south – it’s a convenient distance from the beaches of the Languedoc. We almost passed by as it’s attached to a hotel on the right hand side as you drop down into...the town – we had expected it to be standing on its own. We ate in the Brasserie (there are two restaurants on the site), which was absolutely jam packed. We weren’t surprised at this once we had eaten. We chose an inexpensive course set menu and were delighted with the quality and quantity of the food and the friendliness and efficiency of the service. The stand out item has to be the main course. It was back to the good old days of rural France. A wonderfully rich tender stew brought to the table in a tureen. And left, just like they used to when we first came to France two decades ago. There was enough for three helpings each – although we were getting full we just couldn’t leave any, it was so good. The starters and desserts were also good and everything was beautifully presented in a way that one couldn’t really expect on a low priced menu. We shall make sure we stop here to eat every time we pass this way from now on."
