"We stayed on a pfeife in el tapatio, while I would like to think in the opposite of the 1hr run. that was the best Mexican restaurant where we have lived in the southwest since then. we had fajitas and carnitas and both were excellent. our little guy loves guacamole and he was not disappointed. his children taco was perfect; good part, lean bark and a fresh mais tortilla. He was so happy. the margarita was delicious and he pina colada was a show stuffing with a honey roasted goblet coated in cocosnuss. the price was fair for the portions, quality and service. they were so gracious and generous with the chips and salsa! there is no way that place was full. I highly recommend it."

"My new Fiancée and I were celebrating our engagement at the JW Marriott. Our whole stay was an amazing experience except for our dinner at Primo. We arrived at 8:30 for our reservation and were sat by the host. Nice quiet atmosphere. After our server introduced himself and brought water and the wine we ordered, he was non existent. We had to keep calling other staff members to help us take our orders, clean the table etc. Our appetizers were ordered with our server’s assistance (baby kale salad and arancini) made it to the table 45 minutes later by 9:15. Only one out of the 2 pizzas we ordered made it by 9:50 as the other one was overcooked and we had to cancel it. Our server again was careless until the host sat a party of about 15 people next to us where he appeared for the second time the whole night. Our reservation was made by the hotel concierge who made a note that it was our engagement but no one seemed to care. For a recommended restaurany by the “michelin guide”, the food was rather OK, but this was a very disappointing and even frustrating experience considering the high level of service at the hotel and the occasion we were celebrating. I did not want to make a big deal out of it at the spot as my fiancée and I were trying to enjoy and celebrate but I really hope the service at the restaurant improves."
