Food wasn't as good as last time we visited. The cheese omelet had very little to no cheese. The staff were a bit rude when asked about the lack of cheese.

We arrived at this restaurant to be grunted at by the front woman! We had decided to eat there but were shown a squatty corner table on the terrace immediately...

"Probably the best place to dine in Libourne. Beautiful home cooked food in big portions with just fantastic flavours. We were greeted by Remi and his wife which would be serving us and told that his father was in the kitchen. Remi told us that his father is not a chef but they want to show good home cooked food, and they delivered far far above expectations. Their wine list also reflects the area with many beauties from Fronsac as well as the more well known from St. emilion and nice local beers. we went for starter to share and a main course and dessert each and it left us almost rolling out of the restaurant. the portions are extremely generous and the service matches the generosity. we went for the cured salmon with fennel salad as a starter. Braised beef cheeks for main course a Tarte Tatin and chocolate fondant for dessert. I will dine here again next time I visit."

"I had a lovely lunch with my boyfriend in this restaurant with local cuisine. We heard duck is a typical dish of the region so we had at it: we had a magret and a confit. The magret was really nice, great taste, crunchy skin...and juicy meat. The confit was a surprise, as we never had it before. The meat was really soft and tasty, a texture we won't forget easily! Highly recommended restaurant in the lovely town"

"The last time I went there the warm welcome, the COPIEUSES plates....Today I had a cold welcome, the total ignorance of the direction, forget to ask if one wishes aperitif, an order too quickly passed so impossible to take an aperitif. empty plates, portions for 7-year-old children.I paid a note that 140 euros.
