"Really nice staff. very friendly to me, despite a big backpack and my dog, plus it was a busy Friday afternoon. they are pampered with vegan options and I was hungry so went with the courgette and drip butter sandwich and it was so with an ingenious delicious salad and a drink for only €15. this cheap is not on corsica for so good eating. will definitely return!"

"Do not be put off by this place being fronted by a fish shop or it being away from the centre of the village (we are still only talking a few metres) or having no view as it is wonderful. You go through the fishmongers...to a beautiful courtyard setting full of palm trees, dining tables and comfortable seating areas all nicely lit. The food, though not cheap (but I’m yet to find that in Corsica), was fantastic with great wine and very good service. Do go."

"On our last night on Corsica, we dined at La Roya. This restaurant with a Michelin star offers very good value for money (€200 for 2x 3-course dinner incl. glasses of wine). The setting near the shore is magnificent and allows you to pair your dinner with a beautiful sunset. The service can be a bit more efficient, as my main dish arrived 5 minutes before the one of my partner."
