What waterandmore likes about Outback Saloon:
German cuisine and seafood in the same restaurant? Yes, indeed. The whole belly clam chowder is excellent and the regular clam chowder is quite good. Some like the lobster reuben and the lobster roll is quite good. Good burgers and fries but we haven 't been happy with the chicken. The German dishes are reliable and worth trying. "We stopped here for a quick bite and had a couple of dogs. Grilled fresh on site- not boiled- the dogs were great. All the fixings you could want are available. The line was rather long but that's what you get when you are that good. Kind of a fun and nostalgic place to visit in Rockland. Bring the whole family. They will thank you. Recommended."
