Booked a table 4 days in advance of our visit book early as it’s very popular and arrived to a warm greeting and shown to our table without delay. Called in and tried too book a table. After the maitre 'd shuffled through the bookings, offered us a 9pm slot in 3 days time. After asking, in fluent french if there was an earlier booking the day after, was told 'non ' then said, ok we 'd take the 9pm, the was told 'non, merci '.
