If I could give them 10, I would... The restaurant was the real epitome of SOUL FOOD. It was healing for my soul. From hospitality to the tasty of her food, my belly was so satisfied. I felt like I was going to visit my grandmother again and it felt like home. I am so grateful for this experience. Miss Sherry and MJ... we're coming back!! What User doesn't like about Mj's Soul Food:
We were looking forward to some good seafood during the Heritage celebration on Friday, Nov. 8. Drove out at 6 pm only to find it closed with only a note saying they'd be closed on Sat. the 9th. This is the 2nd time this has happened, so I'll be looking for soul food on the islands elsewhere from now on. Some of the best seafood I had. Staff were very polite and joking around with us. The peach cobbler was the best I've ever had. Will definitely go back.
