well done bob! we said that their healed scallop pies were the best in the city and I think our sources were right. we tried the same cake from banjo’s, but it was too heavy on the keens curry powder and a bit light on the scallops. but the cakes in the st. helens bakery were smooth, creamy and choc full of delicious scallops. the baked was also good. this place is highly recommended if only for the healed scalopp ca... What User doesn't like about St Helens Bakery:
The coffee is good. Ordered vanilla flat whites and they were nice and hot and tasted good.We also ordered a Jam donut, meat pie and a premade breakfast muffin with egg and ham.The jam donut was fluffy and jam was tasty but too much.Meat pie was just ok"Premade breakfast sandwich was no better than two bits and binned it.We would be back for the coffee only. Friendly staff, nice slices, great value and free parking at door.
Lovely ladies working here that made fresh scallops just for us !!
Absolutely beautiful menu- so fresh and clean. All of the employees work hard and make sure you get everything you want. I ended up going back for thirds, I couldn't help myself.
The best doughnut in tasmania. crispy airy donut with a gooey sweet custard filling, an absolute joy! the chips were crispy and well seasoned, while the engraving was fleshy and thick. recommend this bakery!
