Had 2 evening meals and a lunch while on holiday for a week. Wonderful food with a great choice. Friendly, helpful staff. The owners, Laurant and Patrice speak fluent English and made us more than welcome , whether it was calling in for a few drinks or an evening meal. I visited the Lion for a family meal during my stay with family in the 'Vendee' region. The service was awful and was a real let down to this local restaurant. We waited around an hour for our food and 30 mins for our drinks of which some the waitress had forgotten about. The waitress was extremely rude and unfriendly.
