We were visiting family in Vancouver, and I had some time to kill while the family was out on a hiking tour. It was a Sunday and was told it was a good sports bar to watch football, so I headed over. Great watching the game on the giant screen, service was excellent (thanks, Michelle), and the food was good (breakfast sandwich and the special fries). What Darryl Peterson doesn't like about Bimini's Pub Lounge:
My wife and I walked in and up the stairs and waited to be seated.There were about 6 staff standing around the bar. Some of them looked over at us but didn’t acknowledge us. There were 2 tables of people on the upstairs area and nobody in the main area. We stood there for about 5 minutes with no response before we just walked to a table in the main area. Bimini’s was able to handle a group of 28 with ease. Food was great, great servers and huge screen to play our slide show. Very accommodating!!
Cocktails are not tasty and prices are a bit higher for the quality. Service is a bit slow too but the waiters are nice.
