Very busy during happy hour, but reasonable service despite that. Terrible acoustics (loud and hard to hear), but lively. Food ok, comfortable seating. Best I can offer. View all feedback.
What Fred doesn't like about The Charlatan:
Advantages: Used to enjoy eating there but then my food appeared on a piece of wood. Disadvantages: The place has always been too noisy. Impossible to enjoy a meal with someone else when even the server can't hear you order. Comment: Decide whether you're a sports bar or a restaurant — what is going on now isn't working. Loud atmosphere — good for hang out nights, maybe not the best place for catching up!
Surrounded with great people in the tight quarters. Good atmosphere, always busy.
Wednesday specials are: $14 burger&beer pairings!!!
Their nachos are amazing! all their meats are smoked inhouse too. yum!
Good drinks and food, nice atmosphere for a Friday night. The “lazy day” cocktail was awesome for gin lovers:
