"We have had fragrant tea and ice-cream here a few years ago but visited early on in the first week of our holiday this year, for dinner. We had the most amazing food, perfectly cooked steaks for the meat eating crew and I had an amazing dish of fish that I can only describe as a deconstructed dish of vegetables and sauce gracing a substantial loin of cod standing proud in the centre of my plate. Attention to detail is excellent and there are some excellent puddings to be had and even an exotic bowl of fruit (fresh) with a swirl of French cream for the gluten free amongst us! The only reason I wouldn't give this five stars is that we visited again and found the food less well cooked and having tried the fish dish that comprised 'cheek' would never want this experience again - also overcooked! Delightful staff and perfect setting, perhaps just be careful over your choices.Would re-visit."
