"That is not a place where you happen to go, but it is worth getting up the mountain. gourbit is a tiny village between tarascon and saurat, take the departure parc de la prehistoire from the end of the double-cartridge roundabout. as usual with these small restaurants, opening times are limited with reduced opening times in winter, so it is worth making a reservation. they have no website, but have a Facebook page. this shows up-to-date opening times like thurs: 19:00 21:00 fri sat 12:00 13:30 19:00 21:00 sun 12:00 13:30 the menu was interesting, good value for money at 24,50 € for 3 courses and the service was smiling and efficient. portion sizes were generous to the point that eating one dessert was possibly a step too far....but rudely not too, I always think. at this point, I thought the standard of the desert was not as good as the other courses of the ice sunflower etc. variety, but this is a smaller quibble. good selection of low-priced wines from the south-west france. during an earlier visit, I was surprised that the heating in the winter was supplied by a rather smelling paraffin heater who rather spoiled the first impression, but did not distract from the experience after eating and drinking began to flow. in short, worth a visit."

La carte est plus que complète vous ne saurez plus ou donner de la tête mais le goût lui sera au rendez-vous! Petit bémol les boissons sont un peu chère.Attention, cette pizzéria est principalement à emporter il ne font pas de livraison et la terrasse n'est activé que l'été."

"This restaurant is reasonably small and has a good lunch time buzz about it. Enjoyed a good lunch here this week. They have a Menu du Jour for around 12 euros but I decided to have an Entrecôte which was very good and a Cafe Gourmand to finish ...also very good. The restaurant offers a good choice of pasts dishes if that is what you're looking for but you can also get Duck, steaks etc. My friend had the Buffalo Mozzarella as a starter and that look good, apparently tasted good and was a good sized portion. Another plus about this restaurant is that they serve Prosecco, very unsual in this area and makes a nice change from the normal French wine selection."
