We were pointed in the direction of this place by a local - and were glad we were. Great little bistro down a side street - where it's lovely to sit outside weather permitting. Set menu 3 courses at 29 Euros represented incredible value.Food was nice, service great, a really enjoyable lunch. View all feedback.
What Albin Gebhardt doesn't like about La Table des Baous:
the food was good, but we had much better meal times for the same price or less in france. service was perfunctory, but not unfriendly. we both had the menu for 39.5 euro. house wine is local and great. the only great dish was the Carpaccio...de dourade. others were good, but uninspired, with taking out the lemon tart, which had given us an unfoldable crust with the spoon. we had to get a knife from the next table! Restaurant well hidden in this small village of St Jean and at the foot of the Baous. refined cuisine and full of flavours. The fish is ultra fresh and tasteful. the chief and his brigade smile

I came to celebrate my birthday with my partner. We were very welcome. The meal was excellent. the very friendly leader as well as the whole team. Perfect!
Always as good ever disappointed, Sebastian is all his team at the top. a very good address if you don’t limit yourself to the fries and the blue cord
