"Went to this out of the way restaurant as I saw it here on yelp and was craving German food. Having spent 6 years living in Germany I can tell you that this is authentic and very good Bavarian style food. Excellent service and an atmosphere straight out of Germany. Would highly recommend well worth the detour."

"We were driving from Alma to Saint John and decided to stop at Sussex for brunch. This was the first cafe we came across and decided to eat there. The server was very friendly and helpful. She even agreed to make an oatmeal for my husband who wanted a light breakfast. I had the sticky bun french toast with fruits which was very delicious. We definitely recommend this restaurant."

"Travelling through and hit them on opening night after remodel...and it was a great adventure. Super helpful, friendly staff, lots of laughs over what they had and didn't have on the menu, when food arrived excellent fish and chips, an adventure of a "Grand Mariner Salad" which is a Caesar with scallops, shrimp, mozarella and egg on top..and good! Fine coffee and chocolate pie....just a great meal and experience all around."
