"Some family and friends enjoyed a delicious meal of Thai food at Suwanna Restaurant. We had a good variety of dishes and they were all very tasty and made with fresh ingredients. The waiter was very friendly but we would have appreciated it if he would have been a little less "chatty " and let us have time to talk among ourselves."

"I probably never would have ventured into Thai Pho if not for my daughter. She is a fussy eater and a hardcore vegan and couldn't say enough good things about this restaurant. I have no problem trying new places on vacation but at home I stick to what I know but I guarantee if you try Thai Pho would will not be disappointed. The good is excellent - flavoured perfectly and huge portions. They have a much better price point then other Thai restaurants in the city. Service is excellent - friendly and you feel really welcome.I highly recommend this casual restaurant for some delicious dishes and the best part is they are willing to cater to any dietary concerns - vegan, vegetarian, no oil etc. I would eat their dishes everyday :)"

"We took our 3 kids (8,9,10 in age) to lunch here today for their 1st time, and I think they have found their new favourite restaurant in Saint John. There was a great selection of items on the Kids Menu, which was nice to see....Our kids chose (without prompting) a couple of the Chicken Shawarma and a Beef Kofta Kebab, and some juice. Us parents ordered up a Falafel Burger and Chicken Shawarma with Tabouli Salad. The kids each received a large (in our opinion) glass of juice, a great portion of healthy, delicious (according to them) food, and then got served up a really cool build-your-own ice cream sundae, and a cool little toy each as a takeaway. They were thoroughly impressed, as were we by the offering and the value received. Our meals were great as well, complete with a Turkish coffee that was spot on. Great meal selections, friendly service, tasty healthy food for the whole family, and great value. Definitely give this restaurant consideration the next time you're seeking a meal when out with the kids. We know we'll certainly be back!"

"When done right a Margherita pizza can be a delightful combination of a bubbly crust charred in spots, an intensely flavoured San Marzano tomato sauce highlighted with hits of salt, olive oil, fresh mozzarella and basil. Instead, at Pomodori, you will receive an underwhelming pizza consisting of a benign crust, no-flavour tomato sauce and bits of mozzarella and basil assembled by gaggle of students who looked as uncomfortable in a pizza kitchen as a first-timer on a roller coaster ride. No table service, sad wine selection and staffed, as mentioned earlier, by students who appeared to have little to no experience in the hospitality industry; all of which made for a mundane dining experience. And the whole experience was particularly irksome when the expense is factored in. Shame on the management! You may have a wood burning pizza oven but it takes a lot more than an imported pizza oven to produce the queen of pizza."
