"Food is very typical Mexican. Good not incredible Mexican not like some. Very large lunch portions. Mixed hot salsa with mild for the right pop. Enchilada sauce was a sweet red. Poblano was a little bland as was the Taco meat. Fajitas were seasoned well and a ton of them! Margarita was average. Would return for sure. Good service!"

"I joined a friend at Fredrick Inn today for lunch. As always we were able to beat the noon rush. We were seated as soon as we entered and also greeted with two warm welcomes with smiles from the host and our server. We both had lunch specials and they were hot out of the kitchen in no time. Keep up the GREAT work ladies! Fredrick Inn has always kept it simple and stayed true to the meals and service they provide. I will also bet that you will always run into someone that you know when dining at Fredrick Inn. I love the salad bar and the cinnamon rolls are delicious."

"Found this place by accident! Wish we lived close enough to be regulars! Loved the antique building owner used period materials when he restored it, from what staff said. It's small, but delightful. Food was great we had several kinds of things hummus, salad, soup, all great! Their homemade bread, done in house, is great! Staff was attentive, friendly. Would go again if I lived in the area. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and Vegan options! Dietary restrictions: Let them know what you need, they're very willing to help you find something that will meet your needs. Parking: Parking limited and on street. We parked on a hill around the corner. Sidewalk there not in best shape. Would be somewhat difficult if you have mobility issues. "We were on the road to the badlands from st louis and this place was picked completely at random by my fiancee. Some notes 1. It is in a weird spot, but it is the oldest resturant in St. Joseph so I wont mark it against it. 2. We came in at an odd hour yet still got amazing service from Hailey whom also have us local pointers despite us being road hard in pajama bottoms. 3. The food. By far and away the best french fries I have had in my life. The country fried steak was also the best I have had outside of the south. 4. The prices are extremely afforadable for what it is.
