"Visited Ile d 'Orleans on our first full day in Quebec Province, a dreary rainy day. First stop looking for brunch/lunch was unable to accommodate us but graciously suggested an alternative and called ahead to make a reservation for us. Le Moulin de Saint-Laurent was that...recommendation and we were extremely pleased. The building is an old mill with foot thick stone walls offering a very homey atmosphere. Food was delicious, service very good and the ambiance was lovely with wonderful soothing background music while we dined in a back room. The fact that the main dining room was filled with a large number guests transported by bus would have been unknown to us if we hadn 't walked through the dining room. We shared a bowl of soup (pumpkin) and I had the salmon and my husband had seafood stuffed crepes. All delicious."

"There were two entrees, two plats and two desserts on the menu, so we tried one of each, all freshly made with care and delicious. After a glass of the local Muscat, and a carafe of the local rose, you will look around at the...young business people and the few old locals lunching by themselves around you (and a few smart tourists), all well served by the lovely gentleman who single-handedly runs the room, and realize that this is why you came to France."
