"Although we live near to Chabanais, this is the first time we have eaten here. We had booked a table and it was clear that this was very necessary, Covid-19 or not. The three of us had the plat du jour and the price, which...includes a 1/4 litre of wine of one's choice (colour! , was only €14 for four courses. On the day, the main dish (plat was some excellent beef in a simple sauce with a large boiled potato or, for an extra €1, chips could be had. The service was extremely quick, with the host/owner taking orders electronically on his device and transmitting all this to the waiting staff. So, in summary, relatively simple food, well prepared and cooked and great value for money. We shall return."

"A thoroughly enjoyable evening was had by our party of four at Le Moulin de Chevillou, yesterday, to celebrate the occasion of my brother's 65th birthday. He, his wife, my wife and I experienced not only a delicious meal of four courses in the most...delightful of surroundings but service of the highest order. The dedication and sure-footed efficiency of any team in charge of reputable establishments is something one might take for granted but I must comment on this because here it was exceptional. Added to this was the friendliness and generosity of our host which only served to make our visit even more memorable and for all the right reasons. Mille fois merci!"
