"We stayed in a local hotel which unfortunaly was not serving food for some unknown reason. Nevertheless, they directed us and other guests up to Le Provençal. It was only a short walk and in fact we were so pleased. Le Provençal is attached to the Confort Hotel (but I think run independently). We had a very friendly greeting and very attentive service from the manager. The food was very good a the lovely thing was that the manager told us we could have any combination of food we wanted 'anything possible '. We did have a lovely choice of starters from the buffet (very fresh) followed by the fish with rice (we laughed as the French family next to us insisted on fish and chips). It is not a big menu but there should be something for most people. Nice cosy atmosphere and an enjoyable experience."

"We managed to book lunch in passing on our way to the Musee de Beaux Art. This was a target on my list of Trip Advisor recommended eating places. It was well deserved to get a high rating. The staff and Patron were very good...as was the food. The free coffee if you had a glass of wine was appreciated. Our meal was partaken in a vaulted cellar, and the atmosphere was very good. What a difference a committed patron makes to an eatery!"
