"Only through the I-70, but what a medium-western gem. the Bluegill dinner was excellent. perfectly cooked and the filets were huge, had one to take home. the rest of the family tried the ripening, the fried chicken and the fried green bean appetizer. all were very good games for home cooking. that is much better than to take fast food from the autobahn. So it takes a little longer, you need the break!"

"I HAVE BEEN GOING TO VALENTINE'S RESTAURANT SINCE THE 1980'S, BUT LAST TUESDAY EVENING AROUND 5 PM, WE GOT THE WORST STEAKS-NOT JUST ME BUT BOTH OF US. "Short version: Dirty, ill maintained rooms with bugs, especially at the price point. Stay at Super 8Long version: No weather stripping on exterior doors, with 1/8 1/4 inch gap, allowing dirt/water/bugs to come in Speaking of bugs, saw a big one in the room (see pictures Water damage on bathroom ceiling (likely due to not having a fan (see pictures Beds were up on 2x4s Beds did not even have a bedskirt, box spring exposed. Old uncomfortable spring mattresses Rusty shower drain I do not trust the locks on the doors (there is an exterior and interior door to secure the room. Bathroom door was falling apart and made bathroom difficult to use. Towels were either stained or dirty, black spots/marked on them. As were rhe napkins in the restaurant Walls were grimey and covered in dust/dirt Exterior: paint rotting off, gravel parking lot, building seems to be falling apart.Most/all of this would have been tolerable at a $50 price point, but we paid $115 to stay in a room that probably didn't meet code.It seemed as though the hotel has been deferring maintenance for three decades instead of keeping up the building. The draw is that the hotel is old (and haunted? , but it feels to me like the management is taking advantage of that to let the place become extremely run down.If we had not gotten in so late (as we planned to stay here we would have gone to the Super 8 in town.Rooms: Rooms are dirty and not maintained. Beds and linens are low quality or inoperable."

"If you want something to go you are great. But DO NOT go in to eat. You will be waiting VERY long times for just a drink. Thats if you even see the waitress within the first 15 minutes. Hopefully you dont want more than 1 drink or 1 order cause you will be waiting for at least 35-40 min. My friend ordered 1 budwiser and it took 35 minutes. When we first walked in and sat down the waitress said you guys arent eating a bunch are you cause im tired and need to take it easy ...JUST WHAT?! Needless to say we all stayed for 1 drink didnt order any food and left. There was a group of 12 of us too. Will not be going back. Only takeout orders. The kitchen is amazing, fantastic food."
