The lunch menu is somewhat limited, but we got what we needed, a good healthy salad (one with a cheese sample, the other with a quiche sample, with a small glass of rosé, coffee and dessert at a very reasonable price. The best is definitely... its location, in a shaded corner of the church square with beautiful views of the cathedral and the old houses around the square. What Paulette Texier doesn't like about 11 Place de L'eglise:
arrived at four to 14 hours to drink a coffee, we hear ourselves saying by a waitress (or the patron?) that it is not possible because it is busy serving meals. At that same time, there are less than 10 people sitting down.Ah, infernal cadences!!! View all feedback.
A frame that makes you want to stop, but. The waitress receives us freshly. those who come to lunch are warned that they must first sit at tables rid of. and not the small, isolated table that you were planning at 2 meters from that where she enjoined you to sit down. c is not possible (2 glasses and 2 table sets to throw, c is complicated), the lady with her 3 kids next to not having lunch is asked to wait for those who eat to be served, they are priority. and everything to the next. I'm not talking about the Italian couple who don't know how to speak French has showered. It was really embarrassing. On the other hand, the cuisto looked very nice. . unfortunately I have seen the comments below only after. .
Welcome deplorable, they would be quieter without a customer, funny atmosphere, really not pleasant, from the reception, to the service to the payment ... a team that works in the diapason of the bad mood, a small group of Spanish next to us was welcomed as less than nothing, desolating. otherwise, positive note for the tourist office and for the staff of the cathedral. In summary, it is necessary to plan to desalter yourself before or after visiting this pretty little village, because the 11 street of the church has the monopoly on the commune, no concurence, so no effort to better accommodate tourists.
The place is charming. Unfortunately, the reception was more than deplorable, for us and especially for the rest of the clientele: an angry, impolite and aggressive waitress who despise a group of Spanish next to us, pretending not to understand them, voluntarily bringing coffee instead of the ordered decays, which seems exasperated because there are too many customers (a dozen tables at the most, a 15 August)... The problem is they seem to be the only bar in the village. . . but, if you can, pass your way, the tense atmosphere really spoils the charm of this little village.
There are few restaurants in Saint lizier even, so you have to book or come early for lunch in this restaurant that does not bear the name but that offers simple cuisine based on fresh and limited products. lunch under the vault is a pleasure. the service is classy and the tranquility of the place increases the pleasure of the table again.
Tea room that also serves dishes on the noon. service slow but good home dishes and price unbeatable.
