"Arrived early for dinner, attempted to make reservation over the phone, but English/French translation probably didn 't connect. On arrival, four of us on a self-guided bike trip, the owner/chef clearly struggled with communicating with us Americans who had a bit of French, but not enough!...He was clearly flustered until his wife arrived to save the day! We had a most delightful meal of galettes, the buckwheat, non-sweet crepes. I had the ham/potatoes/ camembert galettes, which you can order with salad . Include a lovely bottle of Sancere Rouge (pinot noir), and you have it made. I split a crepe with caramel and chocolate for desert with my wife and I got the better part of that order, thank you. Don 't miss this great find, right across the bridge from our Mercury Hotel with a view of the ramparts of St. Lo."
