The meat was so dry, the cheese on the fries was clumpy and almost nonexistent, and the sandwich had no flavor. The food was cold when it arrived.

"The milkshakes at Oberweis are stellar. I did not grow up anywhere where these were popular, but a friend from the city of Chicago who thinks St. Louis/Ballwin is a dinky little city/suburb combo drove by with me and said, Wait? You guys have an Oberweis?? We pulled in and devoured delicious peanut butter milkshakes. There are other ice cream/custard stores nearby that get more attention, but this is right up there with any of them."
