Normally it's much better. The mini loaf was amazing as always. But the other food this time wasn't great. The grilled shrimp wasn't grilled (looked baked) or seasoned or hot--very bland--and the prime rib was just ok. Very few people there, but still rather slow service. And so dark we couldn't see well--and not at a late hour either, when bars are often dark. It was 7pm. View all feedback.

Friendly restaurant in St Louis, MI, in our route to the Clare County Fair last weekend. We met the granddaughter of the founder owner and had Bonnie take care of us. It's a small downtown, and RRB&C is the anchor. Big place divided into two halls. We stopped at lunchtime, so it was quiet. only the dining area hall gad patrons. They have an extensive bar, TVs and dartboards on the other hall. We had the steak sandwich. It was good but not 5 stars good. Same with the salad my gf ordered. We'd stop by again for sure.
