"A creperie with a difference set in beautiful surroundings! Our second visit was as enjoyable as the first. Always busy so booking recommended. The pancakes savoury and sweet were delicious and we will be there again next year! The service was without fault despite the full restaurant and the food was fresh and different. Suitable for all ages! Wine and house made cider makes a lovely addition to the meal. The adjoining shop sells homemade jams! Great for presents!"

"We wanted a fun evening. And everyone in our party of nine thought our time at L'Escapade was that -- and much more.The food wasn't aiming for a Michelin star. But it was spectacularly good value for money. And it was delicious.As important, the service was attentive, friendly and efficient. And the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Although this place attracts many expats and visiting Brits, it's no anglophone-ghetto.
