"I had a wonderful time in Barleycorn's Downtown Deli! I went with only one other person on Thursday night, and there were only about four tables. The waitress who took care of us was super friendly and timely and seemed very knowledgeable about the menu. I mention the mafioso, but her recommendation of the brisket was extremely apt. It was delicious! The brisket was removable, there was a perfect amount of onions on it, and the bread was soft and light. Not to mention the coffee was excellent for just one dollar. Run, don't go to Barleycorn!"

"I thought my little vegetable lover pizza was great, but the pfeffersalat my friend began to fall apart quickly because the pfeffersalbe under the cheese did not over it. clean restaurant and self service sodabrunnen are always appreciated, would not hesitate to come back if at all in the opposite."

"Average at best. My wife and I had heard from locals that this was a good restaurant for chinese food. Not so much. Our soup was maybe 10 degrees above room temp, the egg rolls were greasy, the beef and chicken dish tasted and had the same consistency as a run of the mill buffet. The only difference was instead of a slop trough were you spoon your own food onto a plate, you order from the kitchen and wait 15 minutes for fresh slop to come out. Would not recommend."
