"We used to come here often for date nights after work when we worked in downtown St. Paul or grab a bite before a Saints game. We decided to stop in for some sushi with our little one before a Cretin game at CHS. Unfortunately, the food and the service is not the same as it used to be. We walked in at 5:20 ish and was told by the host that there wasn't a sushi chef, therefore no sushi or fish items were available that evening. We decided to still dine in for their Japanese hot dogs and ramen. Once we were seated, about half the menu was unavailable and their tap beer selections were limited. The server was unsure herself and it wasn't until we ordered that she would check. The beer was watered down. Food was overpriced. There was a note that the reason for overpriced food was to compensate for their service ?? 18% if I could remember correctly. Our little one dropped a plate accidentally and broke it. The host looked irritated and said rudely for me to move my chair. We thanked him for cleaning it up and apologized for the inconvenience. He didn't respond and looked annoyed. No eye contact, didn't acknowledge our apology, nothing. Very unprofessional and immature. I wanted to tell everyone else coming in to run far away from this place. I only gave it 2 stars because of how big the kids ramen was and how delicious my chicken Katsu sandwich was. That's about it. Will never come back here!"

"Cossetta is one of my favorite restaurants. Although all of the various pasta dishes and other fare are superb, the pizza reigns supreme. I like getting one slice of each kind available, which is; cheese, pepperoni, sausage, and the special. Pro tip: cut each slice into two pieces so you can fit all four types of pizza on your plate at once. The pizza bianca is also delicious. Go to the connected market and see for yourself. Pro tip #2: stock up on frozen pizzas from the market so you always have Cossetta on hand at home."
