Nestled into an unassuming St. Paul strip mall, Pho 79 is some of the best Vietnamese fare that you can find anywhere in the Twin Cities. The spring rolls are fresh and flavorful, the chicken wings are fabulously crispy on the outside, but still moist on the inside, and the Bahn Mi and Vermicelli Noodle salads are both superb. The pho here is not fussy, but the flavors are transcendent. The broth is clear, complex, a... View all feedback.
What Guillermo Towne doesn't like about Pho 79 Restaurants:
The options they have are very tasty but limited. You have a pho with mushroom broth #50, you need to specify it with mushroom broth), which comes with a load of vegetables and tofu. The broth is quite light, but still very tasty. You can also get spring rolls with tofu. Appropriate prices, small interior, no outdoor seating. View all feedback.
My friend recommended this place. So I finally tried. It was okay. I like more seasoned pho, and I asked for hot spicy. it wasn't hot spicy, but they got me jalapenos? So it was just hot when I had one while I was eating. the ring rolls had absolutely no taste! ? the peanut sauce was not tasteful, but it will do. I think if the spring rolls had a taste, the peanut sauce would bring it out even better. I will still be back because I had friendly, helpful, great service, but definitiw not to get the pho, but to try the egg rolls, huh, fried rice. .
If I could eat one for the rest of my life, it would be pho 79! I've been here for six years and was always thrilled with my visit. I get the special pho 0) or the eierrollnudelsalat 40.) my partner always gets the spicy pho and he loves it. the coffee is fantastic, sweet and strong as the duck. the service is so fast, eating always comes fresh and hot, and the quality has never waved. thank you pho 79!
Yum. during the last week, the pho combination with rare lean bark, good-done/fat brisket, tripe, and long. I'll take tonight. pho tai with only rare lean bark. you get so much in the pick-up container. I had to eat it from a servier dish. the ingredients are fresh. the flesh is good. the takeover is very neatly packed. when I came in, the service was great. fast and attentive. server and workers wore masks what I really appreciate.
Wow. Yes. Yum. Dined in last week and had the Pho Combination with Rare lean beef, well-done/fat brisket, tripe, and tendons. Got takeout tonight. Pho Tai with just rare lean beef. You get SO much in the takeout container. I had to eat it out of a serving bowl. The ingredients are fresh. The meat is good quality. The takeout is packaged up very neatly. When I dined in, the service was great. Quick and attentive. Servers and workers were wearing masks, which I really appreciate.
Nice place for a quick bite. The prices are definitely good for the amount of food you get. Fair prices. It's near the U so definitely leaning for student customers. Good food and pricing for anyone. Me andy dad went here and the food came out very fast. The food was hot and fresh. Definitely will come again to try more. I thought the food was great but we honestly came here because our typical pho go-to was closed. iPho is closed on Mondays).
