What User doesn't like about Postcard Inn On The Beach:
Overcharged It is a nice spot, drinks are not that expensive, and service was good. However, we had an overcharged days later on my credit card and when I called nobody ever answered.Do not use your credit card and if you do keep the bill. Other than that, the place was great. View all feedback.
Hotel is very convenient near some great places to eat like Snappers. It is in a less bustling part of the beach, further down from Trade Winds and Don Cesar. Hotel has a cool surfer vibe and definitely has a young party atmosphere when we were at St Patrick's Day. Susie at the reception was very helpful and ready to earth. The pool was heated and had plenty of space. I also like the chairs you get on the beach with the room. A few things I didn't like: the ice machine didn't work, so that they were the ice in the pockets in the lobby, trying to play pool, but the only floor was broken in half, also the rooms in the 100s facing south get an rude awakening around 530-6am by a loud beeton of a loud garbage truck several times behind the hotel next door. Overall the hotel, decor, people and mood loved. In any case, would remain and recommend. I'm asking for another room.
David at the towel station was super nice!! He gave me a towel so I could sit by the pool while waiting for my flight! This hotel is filled with so many really nice people like him who make it such an unforgettable stay in addition to the fact that it is a literal beach club during the day!! So much fun!! I'll be back!
After receiving nothing less than terrible customer service at the dolphin beach resort accompanied by a 12 hour drive to St Pete we encountered Susie who provided us with laughter and the best customer service we have received the whole vacation. This establishment went above and beyond to ensure our vacation remained on track. Susie was knowledgeable and friendly throughout the process and because of the interaction with her postcard inn received our business and will in the future.
My husband and I stayed for two nights at the Postcard Inn. We had a king room and it was decorated nicely but could use a little updating. It was clean, however, so we were good with that. Suzie was great at check in being friendly, welcoming and informative. We went right to the pool and found it to be ok but did not really care for the extremely loud music playing day and night. It was great having ice and water available in the pool area though! The beach access was great and comfortable reclining chairs were provided. We found the drink prices at the beach bar to be high and they do not offer happy hour prices but adjacent properties did have happy hours so we wandered over to them. We did have an issue very early one morning (a dog barking incessantly in the room next to us) and we spoke with Steven at the front desk who handled the situation professionally and relocated us to an even nicer room without question. His concern was genuine and did everything he could to make our stay enjoyable. The lobby of the hotel is cute and we had a delicious breakfast which was served at the lobby bar.
Henry at the front desk was so welcoming and helpful when me and my friends approached the desk! So sweet, caring, and BEST employee!! We will definitely be back thank you to Henry!!! Every place should have an employee like him :
