someone has described this place as a hidden gem, and I agree. it is a wonderful old restaurant with a pronounced atmosphere of pre-revolutionary. the waiter wear costumes and are very beautiful and welcoming. eating is fantastic, with a good selection of Russian and European dishes. in the evening you can hear live piano reviews from rockballaden and other songs. "A little out of the city centre but only a few minutes walk from a couple of Metro stations and the tram. Cozy ambiance, delicious food, lots of beer choices, friendly service. Loved everything about the place on a rainy St.P night. As well, the meat is delicious by any standard.
