I'm from the Finger Lakes region of NY. We have allot of excellent BBQ spots around us so that made this a hard review. I got the Brisket Sandwich. It was good. The sauce seemed a little lacking in flavor. The meat was tender and a good size portion. The mix drinks where damn good. The prices where on par with the area. View all feedback.
After a long day of walking in the heat at a BBQ feast on the road, we decided to try out this restaurant to satisfy our craving for ribs. We found it on Yelp and were not sure what to expect. We ordered ribs, brisket, Mac and cheese with bacon, and something green. The food was delicious and hit the spot. Though we initially thought it might be expensive, it was worth every bite. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends and family.
Urban Brew and BBQ is a must-go to place if you are trying to do a bar crawl on Central Avenue outside the downtown circle. It has a very cool food menu and a vast drink menu that includes top-notch whiskeys. We had the pleasure of meeting Chris who runs the bar and appreciate his friendliness. Rays up, bud!I have been at several times to grab a drink and play hours of shuffleboard. Since the main part of the bar is outside it is a perfect spot for a nice active bar night. I also have to say that I am 2-0 in a series against my boy Jesse... He won't be happy reading this, but it has to be noted.
We’ve been coming to this restaurant since they opened. Their BLT with Fried Green Tomatoes sandwich is the best we’ve ever had. Their pulled pork is delicious. We enjoy the ample outdoor space, dog friendly. Excellent selection of beers. I would have given them 5-star if it wasn’t that the last couple of time the service was not as good as it used to be. Might be just a temporary snarl.
The brisket was AMAZING! The fat content was perfect. My plate was clean! The location and venue is a vibe! Good place to have a party.
This restaurant has become our favorite spot in St. Petersburg. The Brisket dinner is delicious and we have been visiting since the pandemic. We prefer the newer location and the service was good. Unfortunately, the beer selection has been reduced and they have focused more on whisky. We did have an issue with yellow caterpillars hanging around the outside tables, as they caused us to get bitten as they have a small amount of poison. Despite this, we would still return to the restaurant, but we will be on the lookout for the caterpillars next time.
