What Patrick Hebert doesn't like about Les Remparts:
we were installed outside on a courtyard or stubborn decor sitting on plastic chairs near a storyteller hidden by tarpaulins I suppose it was their trash; for the menu 1 only choice, à la carte plus rien de ce qui était recommandé (il reste omelette salade de chévre hot ) the wine not enough choice, the food: buffet as in the road nothing extraordinary, the more; the lost bread dessert I wouldn't go back and I don't... This restaurant had been warmly recommended to us, I planned to dine at the terraces tonight, but in view of the recommendations, I ended up choosing the ramparts. It is therefore very excited that we go to the places of the famous restaurant. Our enthusiasm was stopped net by a server called kevin. He was the one who welcomed us or at least spurred us when we went to him. We asked him if there was a free table for two, he appointed us a chin table at the bottom of the course. We found ourselves on a bench garden table. I ask my husband to ask the good kevin, if there was room inside, but the unfortunate one got swept away. I had read that it was buffet at will, accustomed to the Asian formula, I go back to the restaurant to ask if it works as in an Asian restaurant; "We use each other, we eat and at the end we pay a single price defined in advance." But I didn't have time to ask my question, I just had time to say;" I would like to know how it works here, if." and I got coldly resented at my bench table, where he brought us a pan of stale bread and two glasses of a disgusting and oily green thing with celery or fennel or celery to fennel, I know too nothing. that after that our Kevin friend got rid of us by confiding our table to another server. and there I want to thank him because the designated server was quite charming, nice, smiling and efficient. But unfortunately, the dish was burk, burk burk. We've ordered pork jump. In my plate, 4 ( really 4) poor little pieces of meat of fries too cooked and a sauce made with the same thing as in the glasses. as much as I ate because I was hungry. But the fries I couldn't, I stole two pieces of meat from my husband who had been well served....Break, for me the ramparts, it will never be again! Anyway, nothing says I'll ever come back to holiness. But if I do, I won't go there!
A pleasant restaurant with a varied menu, a nice buffet of admissions and a quick service. Lost bunker is a treat.
This restaurant is one if the hidden jewels of Rocheforte.
We go there following the opinions of tripadvisor, smiling and friendly welcome, my wife takes the undesirable entry formula for 12,90 and I dish flat entry for 14 euros. I think that "patricia b" doesn't eat often in "roads" because even if you eat there well in the whole (I eat there every day in the week ) there, it has nothing to see.The buffet is very varied: more than 30 different dishes and salads, the very fresh, original and very good quality (house with delicious goat cheese, mix mussels- palourdes a garlic. My dish is just as good and hearty: cute pork fries salad ratatouille, and the dice: lost bread for my wife and enjoy for me, excellent both. I strongly recommend this restaurant and we will return to it without hesitation during a next visit to Saints.
