Quite actually the most impressive meal I've ever had. Not only is Chef Jacob the kindest and most welcoming host for his dinners, but he is a wildly talented Chef. He took our entire family foraging including our 6 year old daughter and she cannot stop bragging about being friends with a Chef. "We came to Alexander's to celebrate a birthday dinner and it did not disappoint! We made a reservation but the restaurant was not too crowded and is housed right next to the bed and breakfast on the creek. We had excellent service from our waiter and he made great recommendations on food and cocktails. I had the shrimp and grits, which were full of flavor and delicious. My husband had the pork chop and it was moist, with an excellent flavor profile, and huge! The cocktails were also top notch, and they had a wide variety to choose from. We didn't wait too long for food and our waiter was very attentive. It's a little pricier, but for a special occasion it was perfect. We will definitely be coming back!"
