"We went to Le Mouton Noir with friends we were staying with, who have a house in the area. What a find. Fantastic meal. Great atmosphere in a buzzy restaurant. The owners and the chef take great pride in what they serve. We had the seven assiette degustation menu. What a treat. Each course was delicious but the highlight was definitely the bread and butter pudding at the end. The wine was chosen to compliment the meal. I hope the restaurant continues to go from strength to strenth."

The desserts also demonstrate originality. The taste buds are not “josted” as is often said, I would say that they are surprised and happily surprised.
