"Had an amazing experience woman's day with mom and my sisters. Friendly peeps, very cozy environment. The food was amazing and very generous portions too!!! I cant remember when last I had such fresh seafood. This place is amazing guys! You won't regret it. If you love seafood as much as I do, you'll think again before buying any fish or seafood back home in C. T. I'm definitely coming back here on my next trip to the west coast. Keep up the great service, and thank you for your warmth and friendliness"

"We enjoyed our food immensely at Die Vis Vlekhuis. The portions are huge, such good value for money. This is a besic fish and chips type cafe with casual seating and a bar for drinks. Don't come here expecting a fancy restaurant but come here hungry because you will want to eat every last bite. Service: Dine in"

"I have had the privilege of eating all over the world but this gem out ranks them all. .. hot food for every person at out 10 person table. Making a customer feel that it's all about them is never easy and the manager who looked after our table always makes us feel that way. Thank you for a great Saturday lunch"

"Visited The Anchor which is the new name for the restaurant. Nice surroundings with a log firevbut still very cold inside. The service was extremely slow we waited 1hr for steak and chips. Food was good but wine overpriced. Tried to order desert good selection on the menu but waitron told us there was only ice cream available! For a Sunday lunch on Father's day it was underwhelming."
