"So while going for a drive I put into TripAdvisor somewhere to eat in sale and the Red Catt came up so entered shop and its very busy I was asked to wait .Luckly I did as the pumpkin gnocchi was awesome (just couldn't get enough sauce ,not shops fault as there was plenty I was just being greedy) great busy atmosphere in there and as I was leaving I decided to grab a piece of mudcake while going up the road Damn good Overall great eating Good atmosphere"

"We have been getting delicious hot chips and steam dim sims for at least 8-12 months and eating is always hot fresh and the chips are crispy and definitiw the best in the opposite. the lovely family that runs the load are...Let's keep getting all our fishing and chips from here. many thanks to tina and family for fantastic eating and friendly service always with a smile."

"My husband had the beef and Guinness pie and found it very tasty. My salad was a good size and fresh. The service was a little bland and my husband's Guinness poured and then forgotten until we asked about it. The most disappointing aspect was lack of atmosphere. "My family and I arrived in Sale Easter Saturday so without a booking we tried our luck at the Star. Despite being booked out, the Manager Jeremy found a spot for the 4 of us in the dining room. It was a limited menu due to the public holiday but the food was delicious, prompt and above all friendly. I was recommended a drink on tap from the staff and was really impressed.
